Business Sector

This window of Loan Performer allows the user to enter under Sector support files all the business sectors of the clients to which you give loans. At the time of loan application, each loan is linked to one of the business sectors. Later on users can produce loan reports filtered by business sector. The length of the label should not exceed 15 characters.

How to enter business sectors

To enter a business sector you go to Support Files/Business Sector and a screen like the one below shows up:

• Label for Item: In this text box enter the name or label for the new business sector, e.g., "Transport".
• Placebo Code: Enter here a maximum 6 digit placebo code for the business sector you have entered e.g "123456"

Click on the Add command button to add the new business sector. This will appear in the grid. Repeat this for all possible business sectors. Then click on the Closebutton to exit the menu.

Note:

The placebo code is a code you enter manually yourself according to the institution's needs. It is different from the automatically generated code by LPF. This will enable you to filter and analyze your loan reports by the placebo code you will have defined. For instance, the regulatory reports sent to the Central risk management of Bank of Madagascar require that you analyse and declare your financial information by the placebo code and not the LPF automatically generated code. How to delete\modify a business sector

To delete\modify a business sector label you go to Support Files/Business Sector and a screen like the one below shows up:

From the list of the displayed business sectors in the scroll space, click on the sector that you want to delete/modify. The details of the selected sector will be displayed in the Label for Item text boxes.

To modify the label make the necessary changes and click on the Update command button. To delete the label click on the Delete command button.

You can click on the Print command button to view\print the business sector labels and keep them for future reference.

Click ontheClose button to exit the menu.
